Drew Seeley is starring in Adam Sandler’s first thriller, “The Shortcut”. Young Hollywood caught up with Drew in the studio and chatted about his music career, working with Selena Gomez (In “Another Cinderella Story”) and how he stays in touch with his fans.
“They Came From Upstairs” starring Ashley Tisdale, hits theaters July 2009. In these new stills, Ashley stands nice and close to Austin Robert Butler, one of her co-stars.
The 23-year-old actress stars as Bethany Pearson, the older sister among a family who are vacationing in Maine and are forced to protect their home from invading aliens. The flick also stars Everybody Loves Raymond’s Doris Roberts and Kevin Nealon.

JonasHQ.org is reporting that inquiries are starting to be sent out to potential musical guests for the 10 official Inaugural balls and that the Jonas Brothers may have received an invite.
How cool would that be? I know President-elect Barack Obama’s daughters are huge Jonas Brothers fans, so I would think they would be perfect.

MTV News has some news about the next Hairspray movie. It’s called “Hairspray 2: White Lipstick” and Zac Efron will be returning.
There were some weird rumors traveling around about the details of the movie, but MTV went to director Adam Shankman to get the real scoop. Not only did her confirm this possible title, but he also told them about a big name star who most likely won’t be returning.
Shankman admitted that while Waters does indeed want squeaky-clean Zac Efron to take acid (“or something like that”), the director will likely yank out that controversial story detail before they go to script. “I think that’s probably part of the treatment that won’t get used. And in the treatment, [Efron’s drug use] is an accident,” he said, explaining that he also won’t be asking the “High School Musical” star to have trippy conversations with the acne on his forehead. “That’s the kind of stuff where you’re like: ‘Yeah, I don’t know if that’s going to work.’”
There was mention of John Travolta’s weight loss story. Remember that he played Edna and had to don a fat suit?
The director (whose Adam Sandler comedy “Bedtime Stories” hits theaters Christmas Day) did say, however, that he’ll most likely keep John Travolta’s weight-loss storyline. “It has Edna getting hooked on diet pills,” he said of the parts he liked about Waters’ treatment, including a possible title. “Let’s put it this way: It’s called ‘Hairspray 2: White Lipstick.’ [That’s a] butch title. That’s what the treatment was called!”
Who’s the big name star most likely not returning? Everyone was afraid that it was Zac Efron at first, but it’s actually Michelle Pfeiffer who played Velma Von Tussle.

According to my cards, the answer is no. By next summer, Selena will move on to a new guy who’s the total opposite of Nick. I do see a chance for them to get back together down the road though!
