It was also announced this morning that David Cook was taken to the hospital after the show because he was experiencing heart problems. His heart was palpitating at a very high rate and his blood pressure was up as well. The producers of the show wanted him to go to the ER before the show was over, but he insisted that he stay until the end.

All we know right now is that he still in the hospital and that his condition is unknown.
