Selena Gomez has become wildly popular for her hit Disney Channel series ‘Wizards of Waverly Place“. And now she has a new movie coming out with gal pal Demi Lovato “Princess Protection Program“.

One thing Selena knows about is not keeping promises you can’t keep. On Friday, Selena joined about 30 other high school students and visited a DUI checkpoint to watch the police in action.

“I just wanted to get educated. Drunk driving is obviously a serious issue that we all need to be aware of.”

“I’m kind of lame. I prefer quiet evenings at home, hanging out with my family.”

“I’m always cautious about what I do, what I’m wearing, and what I say because parents and kids trust me to do the right thing. It’s a good kind of pressure.”
